We email all Payton parents/guardians 2-4 times per month to keep them up to date on school news, events and other happenings. All parents/guardians are given the option to sign up for Friends of Payton emails during Payton's Student Registration process before the start of each school year. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings are welcome to subscribe to Friends of Payton emails, as well.

To join our mailing list or to update your email address, please contact fopcommunications@gmail.com. In your message, provide your student's name and expected graduation year so we can verify your connection to Payton.

3. Parents Pass the Word Newsletter

Friends of Payton's newsletter, Parents Pass The Word, is emailed on the first of the month to FOP's mailing list. If you're subscribed to Friends of Payton's email list (see item #2 above) then you are automatically subscribed to our newsletter. If you're having problems with your newsletter subscription, please email fopcommunications@gmail.com.

Find out more about Parents Pass The Word and read past issues on PPTW's webpage.

4. School News Sources

  • Watch videos and clips on the Payton News Network. From sports highlights to last year's commencement address, you'll find a little of everything on PNN.

  • Read Paw Print, Payton's student-published newspaper.

  • Check Advisory Announcements for daily tidbits and alerts about upcoming student events

5. Payton Family Directory

The 2017-2018 school directory contains contact information for Payton families and is distributed as a free mobile app called DirectorySpot. The directory, designed for Android and Apple devices, is accessible ONLY to families of current Payton students and to Payton's faculty and staff.

Instructions for how to download and access the directory can be found HERE. Setup takes two minutes and provides users with continually updated directory information for all of their students' years at Payton. Friends of Payton updates the directory frequently.

Learn more about the DirectorySpot app in the user FAQs.

If you have difficulties accessing the directory or would like to make changes to your family's contact information, please contact Tein Atkerson at fopcommunications@gmail.com
