Science

The mission of the science department is to develop leaders who will build and mold an increasingly technical society. We therefore imbue in students an appreciation of the wonders of the natural world through hands-on experiences, excite in students intellectual hunger for knowledge by guiding them in the process of scientific inquiry, and foster in students, through repeated applications to real-world situations, the analytical, critical-thinking, and communication skills which will serve them over a lifetime of personal and professional challenge.
