for Incoming Freshmen
Highlights of the Application Process
To be considered for admission, eighth graders must have achieved a score of stanine 5 or higher in both reading comprehension and total mathematics on the 7th grade Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS).
Students who did not attend 7th grade in the Chicago Public Schools must have a stanine 5 or above in both reading and mathematics on a nationally normed standardized achievement test.
Students who meet this requirement may apply. Applications and a copy of the 7th grade achievement scores are to be forwarded by a student's home school to:
