FOP Committees
FOP has many avenues by which parents can become involved at Payton. Even if you volunteer on a project-by-project basis or sit on a committee, as an all volunteer organization, we welcome your support.
Fundraising Committee
Organizes and coordinates annual Phon-a-Thon, Auction and other events that raise funds to supplement Payton's budget.

Hospitality Committee
Recruits and organizes parent volunteers and coordinates refreshments for special school events, such as Freshman Orientation, Curriculum Night, Report Card Pick-Up and the Teacher/Staff Appreciation Lunch.

Parent College Committee
Works to provide information to parents about the college application process and supports the efforts of the school counseling department. Holds informational meetings for parents to help navigate the college search and application process.

Parent Network Committee
Encourages parent involvement at the school and in FOP through events directed to parents, such as the Freshman Family Potluck and Parents' Nite Out. Provides timely information to parents via the Parents Pass the Word Newsletter, the “Parents” page of the WPCP website and plans educational forums for parents.

Spirit/Sports Committee
Assists sports teams and competitive clubs at Payton. Acts as liaison between students, parents and the athletic department. Reviews funding requests from teams to help defray costs not covered by Payton or the Board of Education, such as award banquets, extra equipment for sports teams, athletic trainers for teams and refreshments for club competitions hosted by Payton. Compiles the Payton Athletic Handbook.

Global Connections Committee
Supports all existing and potential student travel programs by assisting the
involved chaperones, parents and students with a variety of needs. Our goal is
to provide sustainability to Payton's growing travel programs and to increase
the opportunities for travel to the greatest number of students possible.
